Starting August 15th, the REALTORS® Community Foundation (RCF) is launching an exciting legacy campaign where donors will have the opportunity to raise funds, to help up to 6 low acuity individuals and/or families have a ‘Place to Call Home’ by showcasing their fundraising creativity and making a TANGIBLE difference in the lives of others.
In 1948, the United Nations adopted the Charter of Human Rights, which recognized shelter as a fundamental human right. However, even today, more than 70 years later there are many people who are unable to find or access a ‘Place to Call Home’. The REALTORS® Association of Edmonton is proud to support RCF in this initiative and we proudly wish to invite you to participate in this annual Day of Shelter legacy campaign to help those in need to find a safe place in which to call home.
This year, and for years to come, our goal is to make a TANGIBLE difference in the lives of others by raising funds which will then be used to ensure that families have a ‘Place to Call Home’! Get ready to unleash your creativity for the 2023 Day of Shelter legacy campaign fundraiser, organized by The REALTORS® Community Foundation. As a donor, you have the freedom to think outside the box and raise funds in unique ways. Whether it’s hosting a virtual talent show, organizing a neighborhood bake sale, or setting up a crowdfunding campaign, your innovative approach will help us transform the lives of at least 6 individuals/families. Together, let’s make a difference and redefine what it means to give back.
